Current Transformer B Series
MPEX provides a comprehensive standard range of Low-Voltage Current Transformer up to
2500/5 for both measuring and protective applications. Its performance is designed to
meet the highest standards in accordance to BS 7626/93 and IEC 185/87 (mod.)
Customised designs up to 6000/5 range are also available upon request by customer.
Contruction
The core is made of high-grade silicon steel, annealled to
enhance its operating characteristics. It is insulated with
elephantite insulation paper and PVC/Polyethylene caps.
The secondary winding is made of PEW enamel-coated
material and toroidally wound using high-precision machinery.
The entire core is then covered by another layer of elephantite
paper and double-lapped with non-adhesive PVC tape.
Supporting bracket/stand can also be added upon request.
